The Wedding of Bradley Pierce & Cindy Sarratt

    By Nathaniel Darnell

We rejoice in the Lord for every marriage knowing that each one is a gift and blessing of grace from the Lord. With this blessing comes a sacred duty. Whenever Christians enter into a wedding, they enter into a sacred responsibility to present to all gathered the Gospel message of Christ and His Church.

This weekend I delighted to join with many in the celebration of another pair of friends: Bradley Pierce and Cindy Sarratt. In every way, the composition of their wedding, the words that were pronounced, the testimonies that were given, the wedding was a presentation of honor to the sanctity of marriage. [...]

    The Real War in Afghanistan

    By Dr. Voddie Baucham

There is indeed a war going on in Afghanistan. In fact, there are two. One is being fought with bullets, bombs, and boots on the ground. The other war (the one with more lasting importance) is being fought in an entirely different theater. In this other war, the real enemy of [...]

Stephen Hawking and AiG Agree on Something!

    By Ken Ham

    Well—sort of!
The famous British physicist Stephen Hawking has written a new book. So, as part of the publicity campaign to sell copies, news items appeared around the world this week. In this new book, Hawking makes it clear that God did not use the so-called “big bang.” Now, that is a statement we [...]

    How to Waste Your Education

    By Christopher Berkompas

If my two short years as an entrepreneur have persuaded me of anything, it is this: there is a danger in too much education.
All education has an end goal in mind, some application where it is meant to bear fruit. The problem is that most academic learning doesn’t do this.  It’s designed to give you [...]

Over the last few years, I’ve touched on screenwriting rather infrequently. I’ve discussed theme, how to write a simple pitch treatment, and analyzed other people’s stories, but most of the time, I’ve focused on color grading, computer gear, and cameras. It’s a little unbalanced, because post-production is such a small part of what makes [...]

George Washington, the Christian

By Nathaniel Darnell

When we speak of the Christianity of George Washington, we should clarify both what we mean and what we do not mean. We do not mean that George Washington was a modern-day evangelical. He did not shop at Family Christian Bookstores. He did not attend Wednesday evening church. He did not listen to Steve Green or Michael W. Smith. He did not have fifty Bible translations to read. He did not listen to Christian talk radio. [...]
