What does it take to step out into entrepreneurship? These two young men aren’t just talking about it. They’ve made it happen with their new national company “Manage My Property.” In this enlightening interview, these two young men explain what they’ve learned are the keys to start up.

This audio broadcast features an interview with two young entrepreneurs: Jordan Muela and Christopher Berkompas, the founders of Manage My Property. They share lessons they’ve learned from starting and running their company.

In Matthew 25 Jesus Christ told the parable of the talents, addressing the importance of Christians investing their resources faithfully as stewards to bring the greatest increase for the Kingdom of God. While the story deals with principles of business, the lessons have application beyond business and money—but definitely do apply to business and money. We are stewards of all God has entrusted. How can we best invest what the Lord has given us? How can Christains become leaders in the gates of culture, science, government, and business?

  3. Nathaniel, this was very interesting. It is so refreshing to hear of young men who are sensible, humble, and who are trying to make the most of the time and resources the Lord has given them. Thank you for a great interview!

  4. In the middle of listening to it right now.

    Great stuff there, thank you!

  5. Hi, Matthew! Good to hear from you! I hope you enjoy listening to the rest of it. One of my favorite parts is actually near the very end. Glad to hear that your law-school studies are proceeding well.

Georgia Homeschoolers: I’m grateful for Chris and Jordan giving up such a big chunk of their day to share the insights they’ve gained.

Alyssa: I’m grateful to the Lord that you found refreshment in the broadcast. I am very blessed to know and interact with such “sensible, humble, and resourceful” men such as Jordan and Chris. I want to see many more like them, and am praying and working toward that end.

Nathan: Glad you’re finding it beneficial. Blessings, brother!

  6. Thanks so much for pulling this together and posting it, Nathaniel. The lion’s share of the work fell on your end, and I appreciated the opportunity. By the way, you can count me as a fan of what you’re doing here on Persevero; I’ve found a lot of it encouraging and helpful.

  7. Thanks Nathaniel, my family hasn’t listened to the whole interview but we will. We are working in this direction. So the interview is an encouragement!

  8. Glad you’re finding it helpful, Mrs. Springer! Look forward to hearing more about what entrepreneurial endeavors your family might be pursuing.

  9. Hey Nathaniel. This was a great interview! A lot of what was said really clicked based on my own experience. Thanks for posting it!

  10. You bet, David. I thought you’d appreciate hearing it as you delve deeper into your business. Hope you can take advantage of some of the books they recommended some time. Blessings!

  11. Some days I feel so unique. But it’s days like this I wonder what our parents were thinking… – David Daniel B. :)

  12. Well, we are just in the planning stages right now so don’t have a lot to tell. If you are interested in someone who has a lot to say about entrepreneurial endeavors our friend Steve Meinhausen, who lives here in Rockport, has a lot of experience. He is a homeschooling father and is training his children in business. He is in the process of writing a curriculum that very subject. He has been helping our family move in that direction.

The Meinhausen family all work together in their family businesses which include an RV park, a restaurant, a coffee and tea company, plus other ventures. Here is a link to one of their websites. As far as I know they have built all of their businesses debt free. I don’t think you will be disappointed talking to him about entrepreneurship. His contact information is on his website.

    God bless,

    Teresa
