Persevering men will change the world. I Corinthians 16:13 calls Christian men to “[w]atch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” Only by the grace of God in a man’s life can perseverance in world-changing be accomplished, but our God is too big for us to dream small dreams.

Manliness today is under assault like never before. One need only walk through the aisle at a grocery store or drive past a billboard on the street to notice how true manhood has been expunged from the American male, leaving him a pathetically exploited Pavlov dog that salivates in its own hedonism at the slightest enticement. Will this character be the destiny of our sons? God forbid!

As King Josiah who discovered the lost book of the Law of God in II Kings 22, it is time for us to rediscover the lost art of Christian manliness. Now is the time for us to quit ourselves like men and be strong. Now is the time for us to rise to stand with the manly men of our day. We must support them, pray for them, and lock arms with them to march into battle for the King of kings.

The purpose of this site is to promote honoring, humble, visionary, dominion-oriented masculinity. Through articles, testimonies, and commentary, this site hopes to provide the leading men of tomorrow with a forum to grow as they seek to “rightly divide the Word of truth” in the critical issues of the day. (See II Timothy 2:15.)

We believe that men play a pivotal role in the shaping of the world because God has made men to exercise dominion over His creation (Genesis 1:26), to rule his house in the fear of the Lord (I Timothy 3:4), and to communicate to future generations the glory of God (Deuteronomy 6:6-9). Self-governing, persevering men operate at the hub of all culture. God has have given them leadership in the family—the most essential and foundational institution of all culture. How a man spends his early years and proceeds into his manhood will directly affect the course of history.

We would like Persevero! to serve as a wealth of insightful, informative, and practical articles from men and young men all over the world. You will already find articles from some of the leading Christian men in the country who are persevering in their service for the King of kings as they proclaim the Gospel to every area of life. As George Washington once called upon his country, we must now call upon ourselves to “raise a standard which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God.” We must raise the standard of true Christian manliness so that others will gather to that righteous standard.
